Integrative Massage Sessions
A New Client Session
New Client Consultation plus massage ~ For First Time Clients
A New Client session is the foundation for the rest of our treatments here at Peaceworks. When you arrive, you will fill out a new client form that tells us about your health history, family history, and any contra-indications to having a treatment. Then we will consult with the information you have given and answer any questions that arise.
I will also chart your posture (posture mapping) to see where you are on your first appointment. This will help to give me an idea of where we are starting in the body to work on and can also see how it changes over time while having the massage sessions and awareness of how posture affects the body. Next, test your Ayurvedic dosha. A Dosha is an Ayurvedic term and it helps me to customize the massage session to what your are needing. Ayurvedia comes from India and is over 5,000 years old. It is their ancient healing system that helps to bring about balance to the body. Finding your Dosha will help me to customize the oils for you. This will help to customize the massage session for you. After the massage, tea and fruit are served.
Note: Please let me know of any food allergies or essential oil allergies before booking the appointment. The session times are working times, I allow additional time for consultation, changing and a restroom break.
A Regular Client Sessions
Regular Client Sessions
In this session we will take 10 to 15-minutes to check in and assess areas that need more focus, or a full body massage. In this session we can also add 10 to 15-minutes of posture work and use the rest of time for massage. Fruit and tea are served after treatment. Allow 15 additional minutes at the end to enjoy tea.

Reflexology
Reflexology is an ancient Chinese art. Massaging the hands and the feet corresponds with the acupuncture and acupressure points on the body that in-turn correspond with internal organs of the body. Your feet are said to be a mirror of your body. I use the Laura Norman method of reflexology to provide relaxing and beneficial treatment results. Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, and depression. This 60-minute Reflexology Session can stand alone for existing clients or those new to PeaceWorks.

Posture Mapping 60-minutes
The 60-minute Posture Session is designed for clients who want to get to the source of chronic pain by evaluating their behaviors and repetitive motions that may be related to posture, work, computer use, etc. We will take an in depth look at how your body mechanics are effecting your well-being. The client will leave with tools to implement into daily activities to assist in a renewed sense of wellness.
Posture Mapping
Posture Mapping 30-minutes
The 30-minute Posture Session can be a full session for existing clients or an add-on to other services. If you want to do more work with posture and sources of chronic pain and relief, this is a good choice. In the session we can work on standing, sitting or walking. Please consider one area.
Posture Add-On
Posture Add-On Session
A 15-minute Posture Session is available as an add-on service to enhance a therapeutic massage session. You may book this with a regular 60-minute or 90-minute massage session.

Kinesio Taping was originally developed by Dr. Kenzo Kase to reduce pain in affected areas of the body between office visits. The taping can serve many functions, to support a muscle, to help reduce inflammation, and to help with movement therapies.

Laying-on of Hands 60-minute treatment
In this session I use particular hand positions and move in a sequence. I will hold hands in-place over each area of the body for three to five minutes for each position and also will be using prayer through out the treatment to achieve peace and healing.

Ayurveda (History)
Ayurveda is a wholistic healing art enabling each of us to create beauty, harmony and balance in our daily lives. Ayurveda originated from the Indus Valley in West Pakistan over 2500 years ago. Ayurveda has since found its home in India and has spread to many lands and been embraced by many cultures. Over the years, Tibetan scholars traveled extensively and collected many forms of medical knowledge, including Ayurveda. Tibetans, although geographically isolated, have always embraced simple, deeply effective processes from all over the region. They mastered and preserved many wonderful treatments. Nadi Sweda
Nadi Sweda
Nadi Sweda is the application of a gentle jet of herbal steam to a specific area of the body that is especially tense or uncomfortable. The steam may be applied to either the whole or specific area of the back, shoulder, knee or any joint. Warm oil is applied first, followed by bathing the area thoroughly with the jet steam. The skin will become soft and warm, the tissues relaxed, and pain and tensions will pleasantly melt away and the joint moves more freely. Can be a full treatment or an Add-on service. This simple technique of applying a fine stream of warm oil on the middle of the forehead recharges the body, brings clarity to the mind and offers a quiet place to experience our true selves. This service was designed for people who need relaxation, physical energy, or making an important decision in their lives. This is a great add-on service and is 30-minutes of pure bliss.
Tibetan Eye Care Treatment
Tibetan Eye Care Treatment
This treatment from Tibet, known as “the roof of the world”, uses a cooling eye pillow, vigorous foot massage with herbal butter, and warm foot-stones to pull heat and tension away from the eyes. With the increasing use of computers and long hours under artificial lighting many clients retain tension around their eyes. Typically, their eyes feel tired, strained, itchy, even inflamed and drops provide only temporary relief. After this treatment your eyes will feel fresh and rested, your energy restored, and your mind will be in a more positive place. This is a wonderful gift after a long flight, drive, or too many late nights at the office.

Combined Treatment of 90-minute Barber Facial & 60-minute Massage
In this session we start the client face-down with a warm towel on the back, then proceed to work out any tightness and soreness in the back and legs. After the client turns over we finish the legs and feet. The whole-body treatment concludes with the facial that includes arms and hands while the final mask is on.

In this session we start the client face-down with a warm towel on the back, then proceed to work out any tightness and soreness in the back and legs. After the client turns over we finish the legs and feet. The whole body treatment concludes with the facial that includes an eye treatment.
